Welcome New Members!

Welcome to the uva Linux Users Group wiki. The uvaLUG is a group which trys to:

  • bring together linux users
  • provide support to new users
  • make the UVA campus as linux-friendly as possible.

This is accomplished through our mailing list (see menu to the left), and this wiki. This year i hope to make this club more centralized and active by hosting meetings. We will have a general interest meeting sometime soon, the date of which i will email the list, so sign up. If anyone has any interest in being an officer, or president for that matter, please email me (aia8v) and we will hold elections.

Getting on Cavalier Wireless

Uva_wpa.sh which automates configuration of wpa for the cavalier network, Uva_wpa.sh_Usage.

Cavalier Wireless explains the process step by step. HOWTO Cavalier Wireless is a bit more up-to-date, but is currently a WIP.
